Contractor Solutions

The Contractor Solutions Team needed a way to market themselves. Great. So, they went to the Director of Digital Marketing and asked for a landing page. Packed full of information. The website was created and within the first year, the landing page rendered a whopping 500 hits. Most of them from Southwire employees.

After that first year, the CS Team project was handed off to me. The information hadn’t been updated in almost a year and the content wasn’t accurate anymore. Both my strategic and creative radars went off in full effect.

From there we began the journey of not only understanding who our customer is but what the CSTeam stands for. Their mantra. Their single most persuasive idea. They are a hungry, energetic team that loves to help. And we loved that about them.

My team and I banded together and we concepted a message and a campaign that would apply over the next 12-14 months.

The "Crossout Campaign" was a huge success, and with each month, we changed the theme, the messaging and updated the featured blog post to include a new job site that reinforces the messages. It was finally becoming an all-encompassing campaign instead of just a landing page left out in the cold dark web.

We launched the updated site and the campaign on March 15th with the "Crossout Campaign" as well as the social media support on Facebook and Twitter. We received exactly 150 unique visitors, 30% of the benchmark of 500 within 48 hours of launch. The campaign buildout included viral video, swag giveaways, the site was finally mobile-friendly and we had complete buy-in from the CS Team to supply us with regular meetings to give us updated, relevant content.

In the subsequent 6 months of running a consistent campaign and reinforcing messaging and design consistency, utilizing Social Studio to keep us on track automating our posts, using Pardot to send email updates and pushing form submissions into Salesforce for the CS Team to follow up, we received unexpected (but well wanted) results.

It is one of the best team efforts we have had as a group; and the CS Team is elated at the results. The current campaign wraps in February of 2018.
